Tattoo removal by Q-switched machines is a technique for removing unwanted tattoos from the skin that uses Q-switched lasers. Q-switched lasers are a type of laser that generates high-intensity light in extremely brief pulses measured in nanoseconds (up to nine seconds). These lasers are intended to target and degrade tattoo ink particles within the skin while inflicting little harm to adjacent tissues.
